Alt fashion began it's life as a somewhat ambitious final project at university, it's come a long way since then..

Over the past eleven years I've taken a simple idea and turned it into a cult publication. Alt Fashion went onto become an independent magazine that was read as far a field as Japan, Australia, and Canada, whilst also going on to support and team up with events across the UK including LondonEdge, The alternative & burlesque fair and Dr Sketchy's North Wales and Chester.

The end goal of Alt Fashion was always to help promote and support the alternative and independent businesses here in the UK and to this day I still actively promote home-grown talent across our websites, altfashion.co.uk and altfashiondirectory.co.uk.

Despite the success of the well received magazine, I decided it was time to close Alt Fashion magazine in late 2013, rounding things up with a final digital edition of the magazine. Production costs for a one woman run magazine were simply far too costly to keep it going, but with the closure of the magazine Alt Fashion has gone on to have a much loved online presence that enables me to continue doing the work that I started on all those years ago.
